Spring 2024 Information

Spring is right around the corner and that means soccer season is not far behind. The first session will be held on Saturday, April 6th at the fields in the Wolcott Sports Complex (473 Spindle Hill Rd), weather permitting. The season will run through June 8th, weather permitting.

Practices will be held on Wednesday evenings and games will be played on Saturday mornings.  See below for specific times. All players will need to bring a ball and wear shin guards with soccer socks. Cleats are preferred, but sneakers are fine too. Uniforms will be distributed at the first session.

Wednesday Practices
-2017 and 2018- 5:30 to 6:30 on Maloney Field (behind the clubhouse)
-2013 to 2016- 6:00 to 7:00 on Meghan's Field (to the left as you pull in)

Saturday Games
-2019 and 2020 -10 to 11 AM on Maloney Field
-2017 and 2018 - 9 to 10 AM on Maloney Field
-2013 to 2016 - 9 to 10 AM on Meghan's Field

COACHES
In order to run a successful soccer program we are in need of additional coaches at each age group. The more adults on the field to help out, the more the players get out of each session. Please reach out to Club President, Paul Maloney at [email protected] if you are willing to help this season run smoothly for our children. Soccer expertise are not required, simply a commitment to helping our children.

BOARD MEMBERS
Please consider joining the WYAA Board. We welcome new members to join as a way to share ideas and continuously improve the soccer program for Wolcott's kids. Specifically, we are in need of a website coordinator to manage the soccer website as well as a uniform coordinator. We hold meeting on the last Monday of the month.
